First, what is divine and intervention?
The word divine simply means to describe something that is provided, made available or made possible by God. While Intervention means to step into a situation. Now, Putting these two together:
Divine Intervention simply means the stepping-in of God into a particular situation or event in order to solve a problem. In some cases divine intervention can be referred to as miracles.
Divine intervention can also be said to be a rescue operation from heaven that brings about a person’s breakthrough from a challenging situation. This is the might of God that comes on display in order to take away a person’s reproach and change such person’s story for good.

What Are The Examples Of Divine Intervention?
There are several examples of divine intervention in the bible.
Famine In Samaria And The Four Lepers-2kings7
There was a terrible famine in the land of Samaria in 2kings 7, but God intervened through the use of the four lepers at the gates of Samaria, the people of Samaria experienced a sudden abundance of food in the land.

Queen Esther And The Jews-Esther 5
Another example can be seen in the book of Esther when the enemy of the Jews; Haman thought he already concluded the death sentence of the Jews, God intervened and heard the prayers of Queen Esther, she found favor in the sight of the king and the action which should naturally lead to her death, turned around in her favor and in favor of the Jews.

Moses And The Israelites At The Red Sea- Exodus 14

The crossing over of Moses and the Israelites at the red wouldn’t have happened if there was no divine intervention, God parted the red sea in front of the Israelites at a time even the Israelites had given up all hope of survival. The enemies were behind them and the red sea was in front of them but God showed and put the enemies to shame.

The Creation- Genesis 1
In this account, we see that the earth was without form and void, until God said let there be light, everything was in darkness, meaningless and disorganized, it took God six days to arrange and put everything in place. Without Gods intervention, the earth wouldn’t have been in existence.

Scriptures On Divine Intervention
These are scriptures that talk about divine intervention in the bible.
Exodus 14v13
And Moses said to the people, Do not be afraid, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see them no more forever. The Lord will fight for you and you shall hold your peace.
Psalm 22v28
For the Kingdom is the Lords and He rules over the nations.
Exodus 12v41
And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years; on that very same day, it came to pass that all the armies of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt.
2Chronicles 20v6
And said; Oh Lord God of our fathers are you not God in heaven, and do you not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations and in your Hand is there not power and might, so that no one is able to withstand you?
Romans 8v28
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

Matthew 4:39
Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, Peace be still! And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. He said to them, why are you so fearful? How is it that ye have no faith? And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!

Psalms 23:1-6 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 23:2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 23:3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 23:5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
These are some of the factors that can hinder the divine encounter you are seeking from God, take note of each of them and avoid them as much as possible.
Praying To God With Hidden Sins In Your Life Psalm 66v18-19
Before you approach God in prayers or even request for a divine encounter, first search your heart to see if theres any sin you are yet to confess, confess them before the Lord and proceed to making request for divine intervention.
“If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened; but God has surely listened and heard my voice in prayer.”

Praying With Unforgiveness Towards Another Mark 11:25-26
The below scripture makes it crystal clear that you must forgive anyone who offends you no matter the gravity of the offense, if not God will not forgive you of your own sins. So forgive now and let go!
“Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your transgressions.”

Praying Without Giving To The People In Need
Refusal to show charity to our less-privileged brothers and sisters can hinder our prayers for divine intervention.  Proverbs 21:13 says, “he who shuts his ear to the cry of the poor will also cry himself and not be answered.”
How do we make our requests known if not through prayers, so your refusal to pray about that job, that admission, that illness, that terminal disease or even poverty can hinder divine intervention. See what the book of James has to say concerning prayers:
“You do not have because you do not ask.” (James 4:2)

Praying With Ungodly Motives
James 4:3 tells us, “you ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures.” Ensure that your requests are always with pure motives, don’t ask for divine intervention on matters that will not bring glory to God, don’t ask for things you need to show off or to prove a point.
1 John 5:14 states, “this is the confidence we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.”

Praying With a Doubting Heart
This is a very big hindrance to divine intervention, you must strongly believe that God is able to answer your prayers, pray in faith, believe solely in God to bring you out of any challenge you find yourself.
James 1:6-8 states, “but he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one you doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.”
Praying to GOD without going through His Son, Jesus Christ.
For everyone who wants divine intervention, you must believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God, because you cant have access to God except through His son. Read this: “Jesus said to him, ‘I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.’” – John 14:6.
Praying In Disobedience
Proverbs 28:9 states, “if one turns away his ear from hearing the Law, even his prayer is an abomination.” For anyone who wants divine intervention, you must be obedient and faithful in obeying the Word of God.

Factors That Can Bring About Speedy Divine Intervention
Regular Payment of tithes and offerings
This is a very good way to attract divine intervention especially in the area of business and finance, tithing is not bribing God so He can bring money to you, tithing is simply obeying God by giving Him 10 percent of your income and trusting Him to bless the remaining 90 percent.
In the book of Malachi chapter 3, God specifically commanded that we should bring our tithes into the storehouse and this command is not without a blessing attached, GOD promised that as we pay our tithes, He will open the windows of heaven to pour out blessings for us, He also promised to rebuke the devourers for our sakes. So f you are going through problems in the area of your finances, check your life in the area of tithing, if you are faithful in tithing and you are still going through challenges, simply remind God of His words in prayers and HE will intervene.

Declaring The Word Of God In Faith
With the word of God, David was able to face Goliath and conquer him; Shadrach, Meshack and Abednego were able to reject the kings command with the word of faith in their mouths, so you should also face whatever challenge you are going through and He will give you victory.

Walking In Righteousness

All the human race at one time was separated from God because of our sins, but since Jesus Christ came He has reconciled us with God and we can now be called children of the most High. Now it is your duty to place your own part by accepting Christ as your personal Lord and savior so you can be given the righteousness of GOD. See Romans 5:1- “Having been declared righteous, then, by faith, we have peace toward God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
1 John 3:22 further clarifies this by saying,  “and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things which are pleasing in His sight.”

Now this is the point where you have to exercise your faith boldly, find time and pray these prayers passionately without distractions.
    Pray Now:
    1. Father, I appreciate you for the life you have given me, thank you for the breath of life in me in Jesus name.
    2. Father I appreciate you for your great mercies and kindness upon my life in Jesus Mighty name.

    5. I command every gathering of the wicked against me to scatter by fire in the name of Jesus Christ.
    6. You messenger of death, now carry your evil load and take it back to your sender in Jesus name.
    7. I decree that everything hindering divine intervention In my life, be destroyed in Jesus Name.
    8. Let the plans of the wicked turn against them now in the name of Jesus Christ.
    9. Any power speaking against my blessings in life be silenced now in the name of Jesus Christ.
    10. I declare war against every force of darkness standing on my path to success in the name of Jesus.
11.Oh LORD God of heaven and earth, I ask that you make a way for me in any wilderness of life I am presently in Jesus Mighty Name.
    12. I decree that every word spoken by satanic inspiration against my life and my destiny be erased now by the blood of Jesus Christ, I render such word powerless in Jesus Name.
    13. I command every activity of witchcraft against my life and destiny to be destroyed now by fire in the name of Jesus Christ.
    14. I destroy every barrier to my breakthrough in the name of Jesus Christ.
15.I receive a divine encounter in this my {mention the particular challenge you are facing presently} in Jesus Mighty Name.
Now declare with a loud voice: I receive speedy divine intervention now in my life in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.
