The period before the beginning of a new year is often seen as a period of reflection. It is a time to look back on those goals you have accomplished during the year, and the ones yet to be accomplished. It is also a time to set new goals, make new plans, and prayerfully prepare for the coming year.

New year marks the beginning of a new count of 365 days. While some people may not consider it to be significant, your decisions for new year prayers can help shape the rest of the year. 

Some people devote the first few days of the year to fasting and prayers, spiritually securing the rest of the year. While others prefer to leave everything to chance. They neither plan nor pray about their plans, but when they fail, they blame God for their failures. 

“Behold I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the dessert,” – Isaiah 43:19

God has promised to do something new in your life, family, career, business, academics, marriage and ministry. When God makes promises, He never fails to fulfil them. It is only a matter of faith, patience and perhaps a little bit of actionable work on your part. God is not man, He will not lie; He is not the son of man, thus, will not go back on his promises concerning you.

7. My father my father, let every closed door of success be opened unto me this new year in Jesus name.
8. Father, this year, I will rely on you. I will hold my peace and you will fight for me, in Jesus name.

10. I receive divine wisdom to soar through this year like an eagle, in Jesus name.

29. This year, I reject the life of survival on debt. I receive financial breakthroughs to clear all my debts, in Jesus name.
30. In this new year, I will lend to many nations, I will not borrow, in Jesus name.
31. Father, I am for signs and wonders, anoint me for exploits this year, in the name of Jesus.
32. O Lord, by your fire, roast every hand waging war against my life, in Jesus name.
33. Wherever I failed last year, I shall succeed this year. Wherever I was rejected before, I will be accepted in Jesus name.
34. Father, let my career/business receive divine speed and direction this year, in Jesus name.
35. This year shall be better than last year, in the name of Jesus.
