50 Prayer Points To Kill Serpents And Scorpions

Introduction

We want to look at prayer points to kill snakes and scorpions. Serpents and scorpions are animals created by God  for the benefit of man, these creatures were manipulated by the devil for his own evil purpose, as we see in the garden of Eden, where the devil entered into the serpent and used it to deceive Eve to eat the forbidden fruit with Adam. That is where the devil was seen as a serpent. The devil has been planning his evil against the children of God for a long time and he uses different means to achieve that, one of such is the use of serpents and scorpions to destroy, sting, bite or even kill the children of God. That old serpent and scorpion have become more deadly and subtle since God threw him out of heaven, he has used these two animals to torment the children of God to death. 

The devil uses all the evil characteristics of serpents to afflict the children of God. Let’s look at this features;

• Serpents are subtle, this is a deadly feature of serpents as they are not obvious or noticeable when they move, they have the cunning attitude of luring their victims with enticing words that ends up harming them. The devil uses this against Christians who are not strong in faith as he lures them with good things that are intended for evil and ends up capturing and tormenting them. 
• Serpents are insidious, that is they produce harm in a stealthy gradual manner. This the devil uses to afflict God’s children, he does that by afflicting them gradually until he has consumed them.
• Serpents are treacherous, they are the most deceitful and slimy creatures ever known. They are difficult to hold and tame and they can deceive even the most intelligent snake captor. The devil uses this feature to appear before it’s victims as an angel of light and lure them into his pit, the devil is slimy in the sense that he will confuse the mind of its victim not to realize that he is the one at the centre of the afflictions, so the devil is the serpent and the serpent is the devil.
• Serpents are poisonous, the bite and venom of a serpent is very poisonous and can kill a victim if not attended to quickly. The devil uses this to terminate the lives of Christians, knowing fully well that most of his victims are ignorant of the way out of their predicaments. The affliction of the devil is as deadly as the venom of a snake. It can kill at an instant or inflict so much pain before killing it’s victim.
• The sting of a scorpion is also deadly, it actually inflicts serious pains on its victims before eventually taking their lives. This is one of the works of the devil, he keeps his victims under perpetual bondage all their lives and then takes their life when he will.

God is a great God and knows all the evil ways of the devil. We have been given power and authority to trample down snakes and scorpions and all the power of the enemy and nothing will harm us. This authority is a delegated authority which believers are meant to use without fear or trembling. We have been empowered above the devil and all his agents, we are in heavenly places far above all principalities and power including serpents and scorpions and we rule over them. So serpents and scorpions have no power over the believer. In Isaiah 27:1, the word says “On that day the Lord with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea. And in the book of Ephesians 6:13, 17. It says “Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God.” The sword of the Lord is His word, and the word of God is our weapon to kill serpents and scorpions, and allow us to take our inheritance which they have withheld. Also prayer is a believers strongest weapon in life, we use prayer to bring into existence our weapon and the faith to utilize them to destroy serpents and scorpions. When we pray and fast in faith, we open the armoury of heaven to attack and kill the serpents and scorpions that the devil have sent our way.

The prayer points below will help the believer to engage in this warfare of killing those serpents and scorpions which have constituted a serious threat to our life and destiny.

1. Father, I cover everything with me, everything around me and everything over me now with the blood of Jesus.
2. Father, by your mighty power, I command you demonic serpents and scorpions sent against my life to be rendered venom-less in every area of my life, in the name of Jesus.
3. Father, by the authority of your word, I command every serpent and scorpion of impossibility in my life and destiny to be destroyed, in the name of Jesus.
4. Father, let every serpent and scorpion of affliction in my life die, in the name of Jesus.
